Compliance Fees
You must pay a $32.13 compliance fee for every qualified vehicle operating in California in 2026. For 2026, if a vehicle’s compliance deadline falls between July and December, another compliance fee will be due. This annual fee will be a regular part of your CTC compliance requirements.
Emissions Testing Requirements
Regular emissions testing begins in 2025. Every vehicle Pre 2012 Motor Year in your fleet must be tested twice per year and 2013 and Newer Motor Year 4 times a year starting 2027.
